Original 1930s Alvar Aalto Model 60 Stool Bauhaus Danish Modern Art Deco 40s Era For Sale

You are offerding on anoriginal Stool Model 60 designed by Alvar Aalto in 1932 manufactured by Oy Huonekalu-ja Rakennustyötehdas Ab, Turku, Finland.The circular seat is made of wood finished with oak laminate.The three feet are made of plywood. It is marked 'made in Sweden' and bears the label of the New York shop that originally sold it.

The stoolis in goodcondition. There are some age related marks to the seat's top face. There are also some age related chips to the legs around the screw holes (please see pictures). However, these do not interfere with the overall look of the piece and the stool is structurally sound.
