Original 1952 Steve Canyon Comic Strip Art Signed & Inscribed By Milton Caniff For Sale
Vintage 1952 Steve Canyon original comic strip art. Strip is signed and inscribed in red ink "For Dick Richards - Best Wishes - Milton Caniff N.Y. March 1956." Strip measures about 7 1/4 X 23 inches. Strip is being sold as is and as found with no returns. There is an old moisture stain across the top edge, and some of the red ink in the inscription has run. There is also some residue from old tape that runs horizontally across all four sections near the bottom of the strip. Please inspect my photos for condition details. I am selling more old original comic strip art, including several nice framed examples. I acquired these from the family of a man who worked at one time in the comic strip business. "Dick" is probably his nickname. He reportedly worked at one time for the Captain Easy strip and might have ghost written some of those strips.
