Original Albert Einstein Autograph & Several Others In An Album: 1930's For Sale

This is a rare one-of-a-kind autograph album from the estate of one of Newport, Rhode Islands most prominent families:namely Eileen Sherman Gillespie Slocum.Members of this family include military hero's dating back to the American Revolution to the Civil War as well as many members who were involved in the creation of the industrial and financial institutions which made this Country one of the greatest of all nations ever to exist on the planet. One of her grandfathers was General George Lewis Gillespie who won a Congressional Medal Of Honor for his heroics during the Civil War.The album contains several autographs including Albert Einstein,Yosuke Matsuoka,Bainbridge Colby who was the 43th U.S. Secretary Of State under President Wilson and several other signatures.The album is made of leather and has a zipper. It measures approximately 7" wide by 5 1/2" tall. The Einstein signature is glued to an album page. It can be removed and framed.His autograph sells anywhere from $1,000 to the $20,000 range. I offer items which allow dealers and collectors to get a decent item for a very fair price.This item has never been offered to the public before I obtained it. It would be a nice addition to any collection.
