Beautiful original J & E Stevens Bull Dog mechanical bank cir. 1880.This is a beautiful example with the majority of its original paint and amazing highlights.To operate , place a coin onto his nose.Pull the tail and he will extend hisneckand deposit the coin into his open mouth.Has glass eyes.The bank works well and has the patd. coin door on the bottom.The bottom is cast \" PATD APR 27 1880 \" . No cracks or damage to the cast iron.
