Fantastic late 1700s - early 1800s Seth Thomas 8-day Ogee clock with gilt and tiger wood columns. This rare beauty had been working fine when last in use. All original parts include winding key, door key, pendulum, weights, and hand-painted glass door. Lovely addition to any room. Visible Seth Thomas label inside clock housing. A small piece of te clock's veneer has come off on the bottom of case, and some of the paint has worn on the glass; however, I consider this normal wear for a clock of this age. Approximately 26"H x 15"W x 5"D. I will package the clock with care (removing the weights, pendulum, etc, and packaging these separately for transport), however, because of the clock's delicate mechanism, I cannot promise that the clock will run out of the box, and it may well need a post-shipment servicing.
