About this painting
This is an original antique oil painting on metal, \"Spanish Urchins\", a reverse copy of \"Boys Eating Fruit (Grape and Melon Eaters) 1645-46\" by Bartolome Esteban Murillo. This oil painting was made around 1890, at a time when the Victorians were seeking Old Master copies in their homes. The painting is in very good condition for its age, with no restoration. It is framed in an antique rather distressed gilt frame with overpainting.
