Civil War Program / Broadsidefor 1896 celebration of Confederate Memorial An Original Civil War Program for the 1896 celebration of Confederate Memorial Day, with an order of exercises for the Norfleet Camp, No. 436 U.C.V. (United Confederate Veterans). Broadside notes; "The procession will begin at the "Armory of Forsyth Rifleman", where the "Davis School Band, Davis School Cadets, and Forsyth Riflemen" will form the line, to be joined by the veterans and sons of veterans, then the procession will continue on to the cemetery. After the grave decorating, prayer, military salute, and taps, the line will march back to the Armory where "lunch will be served by the good ladies of Winston-Salem." An image of a cannon and stack of fifteen cannon balls is printed at the top of the program" Program / Broadside has 2 folds butis in excellent condition for it's age.
