This sale is for an incredibly rare original art of the cover of Justice League of America #223. First let me say I do not collect comics or know how to grade them, so the same can be said about the art such as this. This art looks like its in good shape there are no tears anywhere, but the corners have some curl to them. There area couple of pin holes on the upper right off to the side of the date and issue number, it looks like 2 staples where there. If you look at the scans you will have a better idea of what you will be getting. The scans are of the actual piece that is up for sale. The Justice League title looks like it was glued on and with age has become loose, you can see it in one of the scans. The same with "Endgame" on the bottom of the art, this too was glued on and has become loose. It is 18" x 11.5" in size. On the back it says copyright 1983 DC Comics Inc.all rights reserved. There is also a date 8/10/83 and what looks like a price back then of $35.

The names on the cover are Patton and Giordano, I assume they are the writer and artist. If anyone wants any other pictures or has any questions do not hesitate to ask. Also if anyone can shed more light on this piece, that would be good also. I have just gotten a large collection of comics that I will be selling so please look at my other sales. I collect baseball memorabilia not comics so I am going to sell them. The shipping price includes insurance.
