For sale is this original pre-civil war North Carolina mountain rifle stock. This is one of several I was able to buy at an estate sale in Salisbury, NC. The wood appears to be walnut and has laid in the rafters of an out building for a long time. May be not good except as a memento but pretty cool.It is old and original and is a good example of the process they used at the time. It shows both band saw and circular saw marks. It is app. 60\" long.
