Here is an original Royal Canadian Mounted Police Uniform including the Tunic and the trousers. Sadly this one was not stored well. It displays very well and with a proper sam brown belt it looks great on a maniquin. The insignia is original to the uniform. Includes the collar devises, Buttons are staybrite. The shoulder devises are also anodised aluminum. The bullion Musical Ride batch is original to uniform and is an original example. The trousers are typical flared breeches type of heavy wool with yellow stripe down each leg. Tailors tag is Bond a prominant Canadian Uniform tailor. Tag below is totally worn out and had a name but is now very faint. Now to the big issues about this.

As said earlier it has some issues. Inside it looks like it was hung on steelhanger in a damp and probably oceanside environment. The hanger rusted and "burned" through the lining material (DID NOT GO THROUGH THE EXTERNAL REDSERGE SHELL) The collar devices steel cotter pins did the same thing (again does not show through to the outside) The collar hook has broken off. Three of the cuff bottons are gone. There is some light spots to back of tunic and the trousers has a few spots. I had the uniform drycleaned a year ago. All seams are intact and stable so it is perfect for maniquin display. Original Mountie uniforms are extremely rare and seldom come up for sale. I think now the sale of them are pohibited in Canada. I have a complete set from the boots to the stetson that are mint and named so I am moving these on. Get a pair of boots a sam brown belt and the proper Stetson hatand you have stunning display. This example with the flag patch for the Musical Ride is rarer still. Thanks for looking!
