ITEM: Original snapshot photo of Great Depression Era Butin Family in Akron, Ohio, circa mid-1930's.
Photo came from Mary Ellen Butin (born 1930) of Akron, Ohio. Her father worked for Babcock & Wilcox and in the 1930's they lived in Boulder City, Nevada while her dad was working on construction of Boulder (now Hoover) Dam. I am listing lots of interesting vintage photos of the west while they lived there. She later married Gerald McFadden whom she met at Kent State University during the Korean War.
DATE: 1930's - photo does not glow under a black light.
