Bent & Bushof Boston were established military outfitters catering to officer clientele during the Civil War, receiving large government contracts for enlisted headgear as early as 1865 and through the 1870s.
Condition: Blue exterior wool body is showing numerous moth holes. A lighter blue replacement wool repair in back. Minimal alligatoring on top side of visor.
