Original Vintage Fornasetti Panoplie Plate "armour" - No Reserve For Sale
A Fornasetti porcelain plate from the Panoplie series. Designed by Piero Fornasetti, circa 1950. This example bears armour and weaponry against abackground of real gold leaf.
Dimensions: The plate measures 26cm in diameter (just over ten inches). Printed Fornasetti mark and Panoplie mark on the reverse.
Excellent condition. Some very light surface scratches to the gold ground, visible under close inspection and mentioned for total accuracy. No rubbing or wear to the gilding or the decoration.
