Original WWI U.S. Remington M-1917 Trenchgun Bayonet dated 1917. Bayonet is manufacturer marked on the ricasso 1918 over circled Remington,on reverse bursting bomb proofed ordnance logo, and eagle head inspector marked. Blade has not been re-sharpened. Wooden handles are originalto the bayonet and remain in excellent condition. This bayonet would be correct and would have been used on any M1917 Enfield rifles madeby Winchester, Remingtion and Eddystone. Also any U.S. military Trenchgun used in WWI and WWII.
