A STUNNING VINTAGE SILVER PLATED SUGAR SCUTTLE AND SCOOP.INCLUDES ORIGINAL BOX AND PACKAGING.THERE ARE NO MARKS ON THE SCUTTLE BUT THE BOX STATES THAT IT IS SILVER PLATED.THE SCUTTLE PROBABLY DATES TO THE LATE 1940's/EARLY 1950's.THE SCUTTLE STANDS ON A PEDESTAL FOOT AND HAS FOLIATE SCROLL EMBOSSED PATTERNING, PLEASE SEE PICS.IT MEASURES APPROX. 6" TALL FROM BOTTOM TO TOP OF HANDLE, AND 6" LONG FROM TIP OF HANDLE TO TIP OF SCUTTLE, WITH A 3 1/8" BASE.IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE, WITH MINIMAL WEAR.THE BOX IS ORIGINAL BUT IT DOES SHOW SOME WEAR AROUND THE EDGES.THIS IS A GREAT PIECE AND WOULD LOOK GREAT ON ANY HOLIDAY TABLE!
