Orvis Impregnated 99 Bamboo Fly Rod In Good Condition For Sale
Nice Orvis bamboo fly rod that I picked up at an estate sale. This is a 8ft 6in bamoo impregnated fly rod. The home that I purchased it from said it was a 6 or 7 wt. I do not know. The only writing on the rod is Orvis Impregnated "99" the base unit does have a serial number that looks like 22674. The base and one of the tips use the same color wraps. This tip does not have a serial number. The other tip fits tight and has red wraps with a different serial number. The pieces are all the same lenghth and straight. The cork is smooth and soiled with some lighter marks on it but very nice. The only problem I see if that the base unit hook keeper has one end loose. Comes with metal tube and bag. Neither the bag or tube have any markings on them. Nice rod that will make someone a great bamoo cane fly rod. Buyer pays via PayPal. I will sell and ship to USA lower 48 only. Buyer pays $25.00.
