Osaka (tachihara) 4x5 Wood Large Format Camera W Schneider Symmar-s 210mm F5.6:
Relisting due to a non-paying buyer who thought the currency was in AUD instead of GBP and offer past his/her budget. Kindly offer only when you are serious about purchasing this, thanks!
Up for sale is my one and only Large Format 4x5 Camera. I'm selling it because I've decided that Large Format is not suitable for me hence it has to go. This is the Osaka 4x5, a rebadged Tachihara but essentially the same camera with identical movements. This camera is made of solid Cherry-wood and the sale includes the following:
1 x Osaka 4x5 Camera
1 x Schneider Symmar-S 210mm f5.6 Lens
1 x Front Cap
1 x Rear Cap
1 x Lens board
NO film holders are included as I previously used this camera with a Fuji PA 145 holder (now sold).
Condition of Osaka 4x5:
- Excellent condition throughout with the occasional mark on the wood (see picture 3)
- No light leaks on the bellows
- Knobs and screws all functioning well.
- Bright and scratch-free focusing screen
Condition of Schneider Symmar-S 210mm f5.6
- One tiny mark on the front element which will not affect image quality in any way
- No haze/cleaning marks
- Minute dust present
- Tiny damage to the filter ring (refer to last pic)
- Shutter speeds accurate
Shipping and packaging cost to local UK will be£25 due to the weight of the package,£35 to EU regions and£45 for the rest of the world including Asia and Australia (The invoice will reflect the correct amount, not necessarily in the listing due to different costs to different locations). Do take note that I do not under-declare for shipping outside UK. Also, I offer returns if you do not find the item described correctly, so do offer with confidence! This item is overall in excellent condition and you will be hard-pressed to find one like this. I've previously sold other vintage personal camera gear on and try my best to describe the items as accurate as possible, my 100% positive response reflects this. Feel free to ask me any questions. Thanks for looking!
