Here is one more an nice piece of my own Collection. This comes fresh on; 28 May 2013 from my Watchmaker. It has been serviced !!!An nice Silver Pair case Verge Fusee Pocket Watch with Original Silver Chatelaine which was made for the Ottoman (Osmanli) Market c. 1750 -1760. Both Items are in really good shape. Who has any idea about Watches that knows that the Best Watches was made for the Ottoman (Osmanli) Market of that Period..The Watch is of course in working Condition. On the Silver Outcase are Arabic Letters but I don't know what that means!The Silver Champleve Dial and the Movement is signed with Markwick Markham London. The Incase has the same numbers like on the Movement 2763, which is definitive Original..Markwick Markham is Listed in B. Loomes "Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World".The Watch measures from the Outcase 48mm or 1.89 inches. The Silver Champleve Dial is very clear.Hands are Beetle & Poker style. The crystal glass is Highdome Bulleye without scratches and chips.Clip and Hinges are working well..The Silver Ottoman Chatelaine with (Tughra) Emblem measures 25cm or 10 inches. On the Chatelaine hanging 2 silver Weapons, 1 silver Key in style of Paw, 1 silver whistle.
