An exceptionally fine Writing Box made by Erhard & Söhne ofSchwäbisch Gmünd in the early 1900's
Made with Rosewood and their trademark Intarsia technique of inlaid Brass, Brass handles, hinges and side decoration
Has a domed sliding Lid which opens to reveal 2 compartments separated by a Brass divider
Measures 24 by 17 by 10.5 cm
Unsigned but illustrated in an Erhard & Söhne Manufacturer's Catalogue of the period. Also features the Retailer's Stamp - Fisher of 188 Strand (upmarket cabinet makers in London in the early 1900's)
Excellent antique condition
