You are offerding on a STUNNING RARE PAIR of Original Victorian French Acid Etched Small acid etched frilled top glass oil lamp type shades - Verre De Lampe Tulipe - made and signed by the oldest glass manufacturers in France Saint Louis!These lovely small antique shades measures approx 5\" in height, with a width of approx 3 1/2\" and an outer base hole of approx 1 15/16\" (50mm) and inner base hole 1 11/16\" (43mm).The acid etched detailing oozes art nouveau style depicting scrolling and lattice patterns, with raised pearl necklace like borders - they are pretty and ready to be added to your perfect miniature/small oil lamp bases, or suitable lamp!They are signed at the bottom of the acid etched area on both \'St Louis\', showing that these are top quality shades - hard to find 1, let alone a matching pair!!They are in lovely antique condition, There is a slight ruffness to the frilled edge, purely part of the frosting process and not damage, just mentioned here for accuracy. There is a small chip to the inner rim on one and a couple of TINY nibbles to the gallery rims that won\'t show at all once installed that I again only note here for accuracy - See pictures for details as they are lovely!!A must for those with a lovely house, bar, hotel to display/use them in!HAPPY offerDING!
