We are pleased to offer this exquisite pair of older vintage (late 1940s) French Provincial style side tables. Thisbeautiful, solid wood,pairfeatures a low profile design and elegant lines. They have raisedand gilded acanthus leaves on the legs and shellmedallions on the front and back aprons. The cabriole legs are gracefully curvedand have large ball, raisedfeet. The tables retain their ORIGINAL finish which is quite striking. The tablesare an antiquedwhite which gives them a soft, golden creamcolor. They have been further finishedusing a heavily applied, random dark brown splatter. This is a gorgeous pair of tables. They are very well constructed with the old flat screws still present.You can see, in photo #11, that theapron trim has been uniquely attached. It hasnot been glued or stapled. Eachpiece is attached withscrews that lock it onto the table top, atechnique that hasnot been used for manyyears. The tables are not marked but are of very fine craftsmanship and quality. They are in very good condition with only slight, very minor, evidence of age or use.

The table each measures 15.25\" tall. They are 24.75\"long and 19\" wide.
