Up for sale is a Very Rare Pair of Chinese Blanc De Chine Dehua Porcelain Parrot Bird Figures. The figures are very interesting examples, I have seen examples like this in books but this is the first ones I have seen in person. I am told the figures would date from the 17th to 18th century period. The figures have some very fine details throughout including interesting squids to the rocky bases. The one parrot has an old repair to the foot and one of the squids are repaired which can only be noticed upon closer inspection. The figures are otherwise in good condition. The figures are great display pieces measuring 8 3/4 inches tall by 7 inches wide and 5 3/4 inches deep. I believe few examples like these come up for sale.
