TRIPOD TABLE LAMP
You are offerding onrare, desirable 50's mid century modernpair of table lamps designed by Gerald Thurston for Lightolier. Tri-pod design with hollow brass platedmetal rod tops thatintersect at an angle and become wood tone down to brass plated foot. Two perforated whitelitediffusers fixed at the top. Paint wear in spots.
One leg is missing2top leg plugs can not be seen unless you look downfrom above and the other is missing 2 plastic bottom plugs. They are both in excellent working
Original angled woven tan shades. One looks a slight bit darker than the other but this is normal from age.I had to mark each lamp with a colored tape (green on shade and on the lamp where they fit together properly).( The other is tan masking tape again where the shade and lamp meet). I found it a little difficult to get them lined up.
Theshades have some lightwear and a stain spot(see last two photos).
The brass shows few normal light scratches, the wood tone is in good condition with light wear.NOTE: THESE ARE VINTAGE USED NOT NEW LAMPS.
It's lines are beautiful and sleek.This series by
modern lamps that did not take up much
on a desk or table, leaving maximum surface area.
I have pickup only on the shipping but I would be open to delivering them to UPS for boxing and shipping.
