Description:

Pair of French Empire bronze urns on triform pedestals. Each section is cast separately for quality and unscrews with hand cut square nuts underneath. This design is typical of the ingenuity of master : Pierre-Philippe Thomire. The finish is a patinated dark bronze and highlights the gorgeous crisp chiselled details of neoclassical mouldings and triple dolphin supports to the burnished bronze tazza dish above. No signature that can be seen anywhere.
