Beautifully realistic pencil drawings from artist S. J. DeMarco featuring
Wright Miliary "Flyer" (1909) and
Kitty Hawk (1902).
They both measure approx. 18x14 (outside frame) and approx. 13x 8 1/2" inside (matte). They are both in VG Cond. There is a little bit of dust that has entered the inside of the frame on the Wright drawing but otherwise in nice shape. There is a crack to the edge of the tempered glass on the Wright frame as well.
Both are signed by S.J. DeMarco from a collection of drawings by the artist. Doing some research online we came across information on this artist (through Google) as sadly he has passed as of last year.
On the back there is information about the history of both of these drawings/aircraft...
