Here\'s a 2 vol. set of Lossing\'s FIELD BOOK OF AMERICAN REVOLUTION from 1855. Both vol. have been recovered and new end sheets. Text\'s are original and in very good condition. Each vol. has same hand written inscription from 1911. Vol. 1 has about 5 or 6 pp. w/some small penciled check marks (erasable) in margins and couple of pp. w/penciled notes at bottom. Vol. ll has about 25-28 pp. w/some penciled checks in margins (erasable). Bindings are tight, books square, solid and covers show very little wear. Vol. 1 does have 1 bottom corner bumped. Both have marbled ends to pp. All hinges good. Vol. 1 has no foxing to speak of except front fly w/inscription and the 2 fly pp. at back. Vol. 2 has no foxing to speak of except front inscription fly. Many illustrations, colored plate in v.1 in EC. Please review photos. Weight about 8 lbs.
