Pine Ridge Pottery Pot 40-50s Bernice Talbot Vase South Dakota Sioux For Sale

Here is a wonderful pot or vase created by Bernice Talbot somewhere between 1943-1955 at the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. It is a simple, classic piece with what is called the white plain glaze.
It is in beautiful condition. It weighs almost 12 ounces and is 4" tall with a top diameter of 2 1/2" and a base diameter of 3 3/8".
It is inscribed with the traditional Pine Ridge Sioux mark including mountains and a pine tree off to the left of the mountain peaks. It reads Pine Ridge Sioux/ B. Talbot.
