Pink Depression Etched Glass Tumblers Cambridge Bridge Card Poker Tray 1930s For Sale
This is a lovely set of etched tumblers set on a Cambridge bridge tray, all manufactured during the 1930s, or Depression Era. The pink glass tumblers were manufactured by the Standard Glass Company, have optic panels in the glass and are etched with flowers, leaves and vines. They measure 4-1/2" tall and hold 8 ounces. All four are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or fleabites. The unique bridge tray was manufactured by the Cambridge Glass Company and is made with four sections that represent the four suits in a deck of cards -- heart, club, spade, diamond -- indented in the four corners of each section, with an inner circular indentation to hold the tumbler in place. The edge of the tray has a decorative scalloped design. The tray measures about 8" square with a keyhole handle measuring about 7" tall. All pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or fleabites. There are some bubbles and swirls in the glass, consistent with glass made during the Depression Era.
