Up for sale is a 4" long Exploding Shell Design Brass Pistol Powder Flask. It is in very good condition. A wonderful yellow patina. Everything works. The spout is 1/4" outside to outside. We will be selling the contents of the Cecil Beckett Collection here in the next few months on . He lived in Clermont County, Ohio. Cecil was a Secretary for the Ft. Salem Chapter of the Ohio Archaeological Society. He held that position for about 8 years. He was an avid collector. He was a Mechanical Engineer that graduated from the University of Kentucky. Professor Webb was one of his teachers. Of all the years that I knew Cecil I never knew him to say a negative thing about a collector. Which is a rarity in this hobby. He was the type of man/collector that most people should aspire to be. I know he would have wanted his artifacts to be dispersed among the many collectors.
