ILLUSTRATES ONE OF THE 2 KNOBS WITH THE POSTS THAT YOU WOULD BE RECEIVING. INSTALLATION IS MADE A BREEZE IF THE DOOR IS PER-DRILLED WITH A 5/32\" BIT IN A HAND DRILL, AND THEN DRILLED DOWN 3/8\". IT MAKES PENETRATING THE 100 YEAR OLD OAK MUCH EASIER.

SHOW 4 KNOBS FOR REFERENCE ONLY REGARDING DIMENSIONS. THE FIRST KNOB IS AN ANTIQUE ORIGINAL MACEY KNOB. THE SECOND KNOB IS THE POLISHED KNOB THAT YOU WILL BE RECEIVING A PAIR OF (#2 TOTAL). IT SHOWS THE DIMENSIONS WELL: TOP DIAMETER OF 9/16\" BY 7/16\" TALL BY 3/8\" DIAMETER ACROSS THE BASS OF THE KNOB. THE THIRD KNOB TO THE RIGHT IS A SATIN KNOB AND THE LAST KNOB IS AN AGED AND BURNISHED KNOB ALSO FOR SALE IN ANOTHER AD WITH THE SATIN FINISH KNOB.

WE HAVE AN ANTIQUE ORIGINAL AGED 100 YEAR OLD Macey/1900Globe Wernicke® knob (ON THE RIGHT) FOR COMPARISON TO THE SECOND KNOB, WHICH IS THE NEW FACTORY RE-RELEASED AGED KNOBS THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY INDISTINGUISHABLE WHEN INSTALLED. INSTALLED THEY ARE CLOSE TO IDENTICAL TO THE OTHER ORIGINAL KNOBS YOU MIGHT STILL HAVE ON THE CASES. HOWEVER, THERE WERE 10 DIFFERENT KNOB SUPPLIERS THROUGH THE YEARS FROM DIFFERENT VENDORS SO WE CHOSE THE BEST CAST KNOB EVER PRODUCED THAT MATCHES 90% OF THE KNOBS OUT THERE ON CASES.

FOR SALE: A PAIR, 2, (TWO) of the NEW PRODUCTION FACTORY RE-RELEASED POLISHED knobs from the actual Globe Wernicke® Macey Corporation(Globe Wernicke® acquired Macey in 1904 and was MACEY-WERNICKE® for a time- see 3rd photo of 1904factory Macey-Wernicke® ad for reference).THESE KNOBS ARE EXACTING TO FACTORY ORIGINALS!The knobs we are offering are one of the most common styles that were used.They measure 9/16\" Diameter across the Top, by 7/16\" Height projection, by 3/8\" across the bottom of the base of the knob.Macey had 3 original knob styles. We have the other 2 Macey styles currently in the works for re-release. Here at Globe Wernicke® we have several other knob listings for the Globe Wernicke® Macey cases to cover all possible restoration needs.
