For your consideration is this fine figural whistle depicting a female dignitary seated with crossed legs; her serene features and facial tattoos are most sensitively rendered. She wears a tall headdress, is adorned with circular ear-ornaments, a twisted coil necklace and wide bracelets on each arm. There is a jaguar cub under her left arm and there are traces of \"Maya Blue\" and white pigments on both sides of this still-functional figural whistle.
