Pre Wwii German 84/98 Mauser Bayo-w.u.k. 1929-navy M Anchor Marked:
$390

Very good condition pre WWII Weimar German 84/98 Mauser bayonet that is manufacturer marked “W.u.K.” on the blade and dated 1929 on the spine. Bayonet shows very rare and desirable Kriegsmarine (Navy) use with a tiny anchor-M proof on the spine. Additionally, bayonet is unit marked “N2166” on the left side of the guard which is a Nordsee fleet property marking. Blade retains most of the beautiful original blue metal finish with a little normal scabbard wear, never sharpened. Remaining metal finish is original blue with a little brown and gray. Wood grips have original finish and a good tight fit with a few normal handling marks, lock button functions fine. Fitted in correct original all steel scabbard that has a matching Nordsee fleet marking and is also maker marked “W.u.K.” Scabbard has original blue metal finish with some brown scale and a few dings. All Weimar era Mauser bayonets are very rare and an example with matching Kriegsmarine markings is exceedingly scarce. Will make an outstanding advanced addition to your collection.
