A big and heavy book volume oneon the twenty-eighth division Pennsylvania's guard in the world war forewarded by the commanding generals.The history of the keystone or iron division in the world war. Also the history and traditions of the Pennsylvania National Guard and its predecessor the Pennsylvania Militia.The book weighs 7 pounds 5 ounces,has 498 pages,and is 13-13/16 inches long by 10-1/2 inches wide.The book has a few marked,creased,or loose pages still connected blank pages.The mark is the stain in photo # 4 it looks like most of the stain is on the outside and not in and on the pages.The creasing in the lower part of photo # 7 and 11,It is noticable,but not real bad.Loose part is from the small tear in the binder which affects the first few blank cover pages which are still attached to the binder,but not the written part of the book. Copyright is 1923 and it was compiled from official and private records by Edward Martin. In photo # 12 you can see I have volume 2,3,4,and 5.If anybody buys this book the winning buyer will have first tabs on purchasing the other volumes for the same price as they paid for volume one. The other volumes are about the same condition as this more or less,but all the books are all there with no missing pages. I will ship media mail though I am not sure what the cost will be if more than $5.00 will need to charge for it if less will refund difference.
