Pair 17th Century Dutch Or Spanish Candlesticks For Sale
This form of candlestick is very difficult to find in pairs. This pair was originally found in Berlin after WWII. They do not have the lateral apertures that are sometimes found on this style candlestick. They do have a long
socket that would help place the country of origin. In the close up photograph you can see the lateral pin for the core support in the shaft. They are in excellent condition with some minor dents in the bases and there is
one small pin hole in the base of one. They measure 7 1/2" tall and 5 1/4" diameter round base. A rare pare to find! They do have the coarse threads found on early candlesticks.
