CIVIL WAR LETTER

Wonderful pair of (1864 & 1866) Civil War documents related to Private William H. Coates of the United States Colored Regiment - who mustered in Baltimore, Maryland and received his discharge and bounty at the same place. He served in the U.S.C. 19th Regiment, Company K under Captain William Welsh. Two of the documents are franked with revenue stamps and then a lovely green notary seal. Please review the scans.
