This is a pretty pair of antiqueGeorgian style serpentine bedside chests, circa 1950. The styling represents the Georgian period. The bedside chests are constructed ofmahogany and features serpentine fronts, mouled tops and plinths, dovetailedand cock-beaded drawer fronts and pretty metal Georgian style handles. The chests feature a nice flame mahoganypatination cross-banded mahogany top.There are three drawers to each bedside. The chests terminate in bracket feet.

This item is a great investmentbut also very practical and would look superb in a variety of rooms from the bedroom,dining room, hallway, the living room or office. This item base wouldcertainly grace any home. So don\'t missout your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

Condition Report:

Nominalold use marks and minor scratches to the leading edges and drawer fronts butnothing significant considering the age of the item (see detailed photos). One mark to the side of one bedside (seephotos). There are no marks to the top of the bedsides. The drawers are smooth running and close flush tothe frame. The drawer linings areconstructed of mahogany and the drawer bottoms of plywood. The drawer fronts are mahogany veneered onplywood. Free of woodworm, solid injoint and ready to use. Overall, they are in good condition.
