Pair Antique Late 18thc Early 19thc Crown Derby Shell Dish Japan Imari Decor Nr For Sale
Pair of ornate late 18th Century early 19th Century Crown Derby quatrefoil shell dish with a decoration in the style of Japan Imari with blue and red enamel colors with gilding work all around. Marked in red on the bottom with a 1784 - 1848 Derby mark.
MEASUREMENTS: Both of the dishes are 10 inches long 9.5 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches tall
LET’S TALK CONDITION: Excellent condition for the age, some loss of gilding around the rim one of the plates has some glaze disturbance and spotting on the back that occurred during the firing process. No chips cracks or repairs no stains or loss of decoration.
