DESCRIPTION:

Unusual matching pair of faux gold gilt bamboo steel etageres. These James Mont, Hollywood Regency style shelves or bookcases are strong, sturdy and heavy. They will support even the heaviest objects. Shown with and without the wood finials. Currently the shelves are particleboard (one is damaged). These shelves would look better with glass, mirror or thinner piece of wood shelving. Originally there were 12 finials…three on each side of each étagère. One finial is missing and could be fabricated or simply not use them in the centers. Maker unknown, no marks that I could find.

CONDITION:

Minor wear to faux gilt finish. One damaged piece of particle board shelving. One finial missing. Some oxidation and discoloration at bottom.

DIMENSIONS:

Shelves are 81” tall (to top of side poles), 84.75” tall with finials attached.

Each is 13.5” depth x 30.5” wide. Shelves are approx. 13” x 28”.
