Beautiful Pair of Antique 19th Century Porcelain Pug Dogs. The Pug dogs are a matching set and we know because the factory numbers underneath each dog match. The pair is antique and the age of the set is late 19th Century circa 1880s - 1900s. Each Pug is wearing identical bell collars with a bow tied at the side. The main color of the dog is brown and it ranges from dark brown areas to light brown areas. The pugs are continental (European) porcelain and the condition for the pair is good with some repairs and damage. The female pug has the front of her collar repaired and one of her back paws has been professional re-attached. The male pug has his front leg professional repaired and his back paw has also been re-attached. The original paint on the pugs has suffered some scratches and worn in some area. The height of each pug is approximately 7 ½ inches. The quality of the pug is so good that initially I believed that the pair were Meissen German but did not have the cross swords hallmark to confirm it. Please preview all the pictures carefully.
