Pair of antique faience hand painted sponged French countryside dishes yellow:

8 1/2” x 1 1/8” deep. These are unmarked, but have the feel of old Gien pottery. The 1 1/8” rims are sponged in brown, with almost “mirror image” hand painted scenes on the inner portion.
There are no chips or cracks, but there is some rim wear...see the last photo...and light scratches.
