Offered for sale is an original circa 1930s a trinket jewellery or a dresser box. This box was made at Paul Milet by Sevres factory in France. I believe that the logo MP Sevres at the bottom of the box shows production by either Paul Milet or his son Henri as about 30% of items with MP logo were during his tenure of the factory. Later MP logo was changed to PM and that was 100% by Henri.
So this is an earlier or circa 1930s box. The box also bears the initias ER which I believe are for a design artist. The color of the body is orange ocre amber with black dotted and yellow with lines of green around the body of the box. The cover has beautiful blue carnation flowers in the center with light pink and violet flowers adorning the sides of the cover. Light turquis blue glaze covers interior of both cover and the body of the box.
Condition is excellent vintage - no chips, cracks, hairlines.
Measures about 3 1/2\" diameter at the widest point of the body. The cover measures about 2 3/4\" diameter. Mouth opening is about 2 1/4\" wide as well as the bottom of the box.
