This is a the original metal plate for the famous Bob Dylan’s 30th Birthday/Peanuts comic strip. It’s a piece of comic and rock history! It\'s the original 1971 magnesium metal printing plate used for the classic newspaper comic strip \'Peanuts\' celebrating Bob Dylans’s 30th Birthday. It’s beautiful! Done by the legendary Charles M. Schultz (legendary writer and artist of the Peanuts comic strip) it\'s been well publicized over the years as a classic strip. This is the actual printing plate and is in great condition, see the pictures. I included the comic strip picture for reference, it is not included. Please note that this lettering, as well as the rest of the strip on the plate is in reverse, since printing plates have the image reversed from how it will look once the final product is printed. The plate measures approximately 8 1/4\" by 1 5/8\". The plate looks to be in very good condition, and appears to be complete. Please note that the scan gives the plate a somewhat darker appearance. In person it actually has a somewhat lighter brass appearance (particularly when tilted towards the light), and is much sharper and nicer.
