New Old Stock! 1980 Jaeger LeCoultre ATMOS Round Dial Mantel Clock & Box-Working!

ITEM DESCRIPTION

Offered here is a new old stock all original and fully functioning 1980 Jaeger LeCoultre *528-8* ATMOS Round Dial Mantel Clock with Original Box, serial number 522,480. *Note: Any reflections you see on the finish are just background and sun reflections and not wear. The mint 15 jewel Jaeger LeCoultre signed movement (528/1) has just been fully disassembled & cleaned, adjusted and timed by me and is working very accurately, keeping great time. The inner bellows (dated '80) has just been checked and is in perfect working order. The round ATMOS Swiss signed white painted dial, which has applied gold markers & numerals, is in mint condition as are the original black tipped gold hands. The rear bellows housing is in mint condition with no dark spotting, scratches or cracks. The 24k gold plated finish on the exterior is in perfect condition with NO damage, scratches or wear whatsoever. There are no stress fractures on the base. There are no signs of wear to the piece so I believe the clock was never used and if it was it was only used very carefully for a very short period and placed back in the box. All of the fixed glass panels, including the top lucite panel, are clean with no chipping or scratches and the original front removable glass access panel is damage free. The important leveling bubble in the front base is fine and functions properly. The piece comes with the box (which is worn a bit) all the original paperwork and protective plastic insert. I've owned, restored and have sold quite a few of these beautiful Atmos clocks and this a perfect round dialed example that anyone would be proud to display in their home. I guarantee your clock to be exactly as described and even if noted as working great or recently serviced, please understand that, due to the sometimes delicate nature of these vintage Atmos clocks, periodic servicing and/or adjustments may be required. Upon receipt, if it's not working correctly as stated, please contact me and we can arrange for you to send it back to me for repair. I do all the restoration work myself! If it cannot be repaired in a reasonable amount of time, I will arrange for a prompt refund. I cannot be expected to issue a refund based on buyer's remorse, so please know what you're offerding on and what you're comfortable paying. Contact me for shipping rates for this heavy item. I closely estimate $50-$100 for shipping and secure double boxed packaging. This is my cost and I do not charge for packaging materials which do cost me money. I will send an invoice to the winning buyer right after the sale. It will include United States Postal Service "USPS" Priority shipping cost with insurance if shipped to United States destinations. Items shipped to International destinations will be shipped safely via USPS International Priority airmail insured.
