Extremely high quality and expertly handcrafted authentic antique Tiffany & Company piece. The centerpiece is twelve sided and gracefully geometric. Made circa 1915, the design foreshadows the angular lines of Art Deco while retaining the delicately refined sense of style Tiffany & Co. is famous for. A stylized floral motif is found at each of the twelve points with clean, open sections in between. A textured, thorn-like pattern forms a border encircling the centerpiece\'s outside edge. A small bowl fits within the centerpiece, a handle at either end and four holes in its base. Inset bowl is silverplate. Both the centerpiece and the inset bowl have tarnish and staining commensurate with age and use. We have chosen to leave this patina in place; if so desired, the centerpiece could be polished to perfection. If the inset silverplate bowl were replated, the set would appear like new. Truly an incredible piece of antique Tiffany silver. Centerpiece measures 18\" in diameter and 2 1/2\" tall. Inset bowl measures 10 3/8\" in diameter. The set weighs approximately 5 1/2 pounds, as measured on a mechanical postal scale. Inset bowl weighs approximately 1.5 pounds. Authenticityunconditionally guaranteed.
