It measures approximately 24 inches by 9 inches for the frame.The art work is copyrighted 4/84 with the following attribution Baldwin Built Compound Locomotive 4-6- 1892 Picture by Philippe Michaud. The artwork does have the stamp of the artist residence and phone number at the time he published this work with another inscription \"G108\" next to the stamp.The artist recycled brass, copper and other assorted metals that included valves, tubing, drawer pulls, gears, fittings and who knows what else to come up with essentially a one of a kind art piece. It is all laid out on a black velvet background with a working clock! Like I said a great gift for Father\'s Day, someone who is into trains or something that can become a family heirloom.
The frame is in good condition and there is some scratching on the surface of the engine but I\'m not convinced it occurred after the nu 89 was applied. In any event let the photographs be your best description of what it is you are buying.
