Phillipson Paragon Bamboo fly rod. (VERY GOOD CONDITION) 8'6" 6wt. 2 tips (one tip is short) all other sections are full length.comes with original tube and a rod bag. I am a rod collector so know that what I say is from experience. I own about 12 Phillipson cane rods. This is one of the nicest ones I have seen and it cast like a dream. This is one of my favorite Phillipson tapers. The sections are dead straight, ferules fit tight and pop, no clicking at all. Cork looks like rod has never been fished. (I have not touched or cleaned anything on this rod.) The varnish has a couple normal scratches and scuffs but otherwise is in excellent condition and does not need any work at all.The tube is original and still has the Phillipson sticker on it. The bag is an old Heddon rod sock but you can buy a Phillipson bag for $15.00 from Ricks Rods in Denver.*The only real problem with this rod is that one of the tips is short. I cannot figure out why or what happened. It is a good rod to have someone scarf the tip. Or Rick at Ricks rods may have a spare original tip but youll have to call and ask. Really a great rod and would be a amazing fishing rod at a great price, i need to fund tools for my rod shop. PS: Dont ask me about shipping because it will be shipped priority and insured.
