-Surviving Senior Officers Portrait, RMS Titanic-About a year after the Titanic tragedy, the 4 Senior Officers that survived had their photo taken together. Then they all signed the photo.Charles Herbert Lightoller, 2nd Officer, transferred from Liner Oceanic, and stayed aboard the Titanic until water \'rose to his waist\'. Went on at age 66 to rescue 130 marooned WWII soldiers at Dunkirk in his private yacht that normally carried 21, while being fired upon by German machine guns the entire way.Herbert John Pitman, 3rd Officer, transferred from Liner Oceanic and was off duty at the time of the collision.Joseph Groves Boxhall, 4th Officer. Captain Smith put him in charge of all Titanic\'s Charting and Navigation. He later earned the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy and in 1950 was the technical adviser to the movie \'A Night To Remember\' by Walter Lord. By request he had his ashes scattered over Titanic\'s wreck site after his death in 1967.Harold Godfrey Lowe, 5th Officer, transferred from the liner Belgic. Admitted his use of a gun during lifeboat loading as warning shots to quell panic rushes. Was the only Officer to return his boat (lifeboat 14) to pick up survivors (4) from the water.
The photo has a very slight haze but is identical to the current condition of the original.
