From the battle-hardened dance crew to a beginning student, STEEZ gives
control like no other audio system available, personalizing the experience for
practice, demos, or even full-on competition, including unique features such
as:
Tempo Control: Ideal for practicing choreography, Tempo Control let’s
you adjust the tempo of any track without changing pitch.
Dance Cue: Practice makes perfect. Set a cue point anywhere in a song to
go back to easily and at any time.
8-Beat Skip: Dancing is all about the beat, more specifically 8-counts.
8-Beat Skip let’s the dancer rewind and fast forward by 8-counts, assuring
the beat is never interrupted.
Auto Battle Mode: Automatically create group or 1-on-1 battles on the
fly, complete with countdown and voice prompts
DJ Mix: Eliminates the need for a DJ. DJ Mix automatically puts together
non-stop mixes by genre, complete with transition effects between tracks.
Dance Boost: Perfect for loud environments or when you have to keep the
volume down without missing the beat, Dance Boost emphasizes instruments
like the hi-hat and bass drum for a more pronounced beat.
Remote Control: An ultra-thin and compact remote
insures all the control is conveniently in the dancer’s hand. No need to run
to and from the player.
Built in iPod/iPhone Dock. (Fits all except iPhone
5 - will work with Iphone 5 with a cable)
Once your music
is analyzed by MIXTRAX and uploaded
to the 4GB memory Internal Memory (or a USB key) of each steez
unit, you can control the tempo
of a song. Increasing the speed without changing the pitch, or slowing
down the tempo, again without changing the pitch.
Setting a cue point. This feature is also available on music that has
been analyzed by MIXTRAX. Using the included remote control, dance
teachers, students, or choreographers, can set a book mark at any point
in a song, returning to it as they need to rehearse. This eliminates
running back and forth to an iPod or iPhone and remembering the time
stamp in the song that the choreography starts at.
This feature is more for break dancers and dance
competitions. Users can set up battles between one or more dancers and
dance against each other for a timed round. They can also choose the
music they wish to dance to in these battles. All these presets can be
done with the remote control..
EQ settings.
Since Pioneer is known for sound, we built in an EQ setting that can
highlight certain beats in the music for dancers who are practicing.
This is especially helpful if you are practicing in your room or
basement late at night and you need the volume to be low but the beat
pronounced so you can memorize the choreography.
DJ mix. Taking all the music that has been analyzed by MIXTRAX and
uploaded to the steez. dancers and users can create non stop mixes based
on tempos or moods of the songs. These songs are mixed together with
dj-like transition affects (scratches, fade-in, fade-out) .
The small remote is a great tool for
teachers and choreographers to use so they don't have to keep running
over to their music systems and pressing "replay".
