Description: Antique Royal Worcester England 19th century white, pink & gilded decor porcelain pitcher. The pitcher measures approximately 9 1/8 inches tall, 4 7/8 wide across the bottom, & 6 1/4 inches wide (from end of side to end of handle). The pitcher is heavy & weighs approximately 2 lb. 3.6 oz. I have tried to make out the date at the bottom of the green mark & it looks more like a number rather than a letter (possibly 7/4) The pitcher is in good antique estate condition as follows;NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS. THERE IS SCRATCHING& WEAR CONSISTENT WITH THE AGE OF THE PIECE& NORMAL USAGE, MAINLY TO THE GILDED PORTIONS. I HAVE EXAMINED THE PIECE UNDER A BLACK LIGHT. THERE IS A SMALL RELIEF HOLE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE HANDLE. THERE ARE A FEW SMALL PITTING MARKS IN THE MAKING,& THE INSIDE NEEDS A GOOD CLEANING AT THE BOTTOM. THERE IS A GRAYISH LINE WHICH RUNS DOWN THE SIDE UNDER THE SPOUT ON THE WHITE. IN ADDITION TO THE GREEN WORCESTER MARK ON THE BOTTOM THERE IS AN IMPRESSED MARK ALONG THE RIM. THE DATE IS HARD TO MAKE OUT. THERE IS GLARE& REFLECTION IN SOME PHOTOS.
