These plastic inserts cover the open end of a rectangular tube that measures 1\" x 3\" outside with a wall thickness of 14-20 gage. Measure carefully as the “OUTSIDE” tube dimension is the size cap you order.12 NEW pcs per bag. Available in Black only.
When searching for plastic cap inserts here is a tip to determine the size and gage you might need. The higher the gage number the thinner the material, the lower the gage number the thicker the material.
Tip to determine 14-20 gage wall thickness
Take one5¢ USnicklecoin and lay it on theedgeof your tube to determine the maximum thickness allowed. If the tube thickness is equal to or less thanthe thickness of the coin it is 14-20 gage compatible and the correct insert size for your application.
